Long Live Radio

After years of being able to listen to any song I want on demand at the tap of a screen or the click of a button, I think I’m finally over it.

I’ve been gravitating toward the shuffle feature on my music services recently, but even that isn’t enough.

I’m bored. I’ve curated myself to death and there’s no mystery left. No spark.

I guess I just want to be surprised. I want to listen to my music in an unexpected order. I want to hear a song I’ve never heard before. I want to listen to some home DJ talk about how his cat keeps jumping on his keyboard.

I think Burning Rock Radio was kind of born out of that sentiment.
