Should Parties Be Shorter?

I think we should rethink parties in general—birthday parties, weddings, Christmas parties, anniversaries, dinner parties, housewarming parties—the whole list.

Some of them should be shorter.

Some of them should be longer (why don’t we do more all-nighters as adults?)

Some of them should involve a lot more video games.

Some of them should involve a lot more paintball.

Some of them should involve a lot more fancy coffee tastings.

Some parties should just be a bonfire on the beach where everybody shares a scary story.
